Great idea, Móni! This is so convenient for us Windows Live fans of your singing. I'm listening to track 11, "Goodbye...", one of those songs where you nAiLEd Karen C! Good sound, easy to get to. Thanks! Aditos!

Querida Moni:
En èstas fechas en que tantos millones de personas en el mundo elevan sus plegarias, yo te envìo mi mayor deseo de amor para tu vida, y ya no importan las creencias ni las religiones, solo los buenos deseos terrenales.

Hey, Moni.
Did my star disappear?
It's always there whenever I look!

Hahaha, maybe it's because i logged out? Seems obvious, but then again, maybe most people don't log out and log back in all the time... Do you?

I listened to "Goodbye to Love", another one where I think you turn into K.C. herself.

Now playing: "Looking for Love". This is completly different!
Are you sure both singers are YOU?!?
^.^

Mónica said...

Ahhh NOW I see your star Howie! (^_^)
Yes, you're probably right! Me, for example, I never log out ;-)

Oh "Looking for love" is completely different indeed, but I do love these early Carpenters songs and that special feeling they put on them.. I am sure many people would find hard to believe is them (or me!! ahaha) singing, but hey, here it is! (^_~) I may post some more in the same style soon.
Gracias por visitarme y por comentar, me hace muy pero que muy feliz !!! *besitos*

Hola, Mima. I stopped by to see if there are any new postings. (I didn't really expect anything.) And also to keep my "star" fresh. But... but... but look! My star says "Sunnyvale!" (I see that star pulsating here on your map, and on my site's map, too!)

A tech from my service provider told me they had replaced their servers last week. (That was why I couldn't send that email Wedenday night.) The new servers must be across the bay in Sunnyvale! Awww, I liked seeing "Alameda" though. (Haha!)
Ciao, ---Howie

Hola, Mimita. Finally I can see my "Alameda" star, sorta UNDER the Sunnyvale star. (Hello! Sunnyvale? Are you there?)

Howard said...

Holita, Mimita,
I've been missing you - awww... - so I came to listen for a bit.

And refresh my star, too. (Just "Sunnyvale" today. @_@)
But I noticed some new stars in the Atlantic. Right next to Las Palmas, there are Tinajo and Santa Brígida, too. Places near you?

Hi, Món.
A couple new ones here, eh? Fogelberg and Tennille?

5-stars for "Longer". You are in great form on that one. Playlist! LOL. I'm withholding a 1/2-star on the Capt&Tennille one though. Good singing, good voice, but Tennille had more... syncpopated rhythm? More something.

I thank you for your advice about using a Google Blog to replace my geocities website that's being closed. You got me looking at Google, and I found Google Sites. It appears that I will be able to duplicate the form I had at geocities. And maybe get more organized at the same time, LOL. Now if only I can get most of it done before geocities shuts down!

Hey Monilla, here's hermanito ;)
Oh pero Moni, still a single post? nonono more posts, more more info.
Thanks for putting up all those songs in high quality, now here's what i call listening to great songs and great voice ;)
I'm still wondering whether Howie gave you a HALF star (0.5 / 5 vote) on that song :D or 5 - 0.5 = 4.5 that is more probable (hope so eheh). By the way, I don't know, my opinion is that original has waaay too much Chorus effect on voice, too much while yours is (maybe a 0.5 less "syncPopated"[LOL] but) crystal clear voice.
Ciaoo
PS: I love how Mirela called you ahahah
PS2: aaaaah Rainy Days playing now shhhhh ;)

(^_^) Info for myself:
The playlist as of today:

-- Duet Monica & Steve Almost here (Delta Goodrem & Brian McFadden)
-- Trouble (Coldplay)
-- Close to you (The Carpenters)
-- Hanamizuki (Hideaki Tokunaga)
-- I just fall in love again (Anne Murray)
-- Michelle (The Beatles)
-- Let your love go (Bread)
-- Dancing in the streets (The Carpenters)
-- Danny's Song (Anne Murray )
-- It's too late (Carole King )
-- La quiero a morir (Francis Cabrel)
-- One more time, one more chance (Masayoshi Yamazaki)
-- Rainy days and mondays (The Carpenters)
-- El libro de la selva (OST)
-- Heaven help (Lenny Kravitz)
-- Duet Monica & Heracleum: 7seconds (Youssou N'Dour & Neneh Cherry)
-- All the lies that you told me (Frances Black)
-- Koi ni ochite (Hideaki Tokunaga)
-- Duet Monica & Heracleum: Don't give up (Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush)
-- Goodbye to love (The Carpenters)
-- I want you with me (Bread)
-- Looking for love (The Carpenters)
-- Longer (Dan Fogelberg)
-- Love will keep us together (Captain & Tenille)

I've been listening, trying to decide which ones are newly added, but all these renditions are familiar to me fro Midomi or elsewhere. Today my favorites are "All the lies...", "One more time,..." and "La quiero a morir", but I enjoyed them all.
